Naval Air Station (NAS) Joint Reserve Base (JRB), B300 Complex Demo, New Orleans, Belle Chasse, LA
KC performed the demolition of Building 263B and B300 Complex which includes Buildings 300, 305, 404, baseball field (B402), and bleachers. KC implemented a plan to complete the project with minimal impact to the base. All activities were coordinated with the government. The demolition consisted of buildings, foundations, utilities, sidewalks, and associated fixtures. KC staged the project materials and equipment in pre-designated areas, as approved by the government, and ensured that site staging was outside an 1,800-foot buffer radius of the nearest explosive quantity distance arc.
