USACE Philadelphia District, Headquarters Refurbishment, Dover Air Force Base, Dover, Delaware
KOMAN designed and constructed the renovation of the 7,000 sf 512th CES Facility 605 headquarters building. The facility was entirely “gutted out”, including removal of the existing doors and windows. New utility services were connected and new electrical panels, plumbing, and HVAC systems were installed.
Tasks included demolition of all existing interior improvements and installation of new floor finishes, wall finishes, ceilings, and latrine areas.
The upgraded facility with open office space provided a more usable “free flowing” facility. KOMAN received an “Exceptional” evaluation rating for this project.
The new electrical system included the installation of a fire suppression system and restroom facilities renovation.
