Alaska Air National Guard, BRAC Infrastructure Project, Elmendorf and Eielson Air Force Bases, Alaska
KOMAN in association with GMC, its JV partner, provided the construction of a completely new civil work infrastructure system, including new roads, drainage and utilities service installations on Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska.
This was the first of many contracts the Alaska National Guard issued for bid with regard to this Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) of Kulis Air National Guard Base. To accommodate this relocation and the construction of new buildings, a completely new infrastructure system was required to support the development.
